The princess palace at ECM Hospital.

On Thursday September 25th Maddie awoke with a fever. By the middle of the day it reached 103.2 and that was her being on Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I called the doctor , they of course wanted to see us quite soon. By the time we got there just 20 minutes later her temp was 105.2. yikes. Because she was also hydrated the doctor thought that it was best for Maddie to be admitted to the hospital. We did not get to leave the hospital until Sunday the 28th. It was a very interesting experience. At first she just wanted to be rocked. You could not put her down without her fussing. It turns out she had the cox -sack- y virus. Basically she had a very sore throat with red spots that kept her from wanting to eat or drink. Jonah then proceeded to get the same thing on Saturday. So as you can imagine that weekend took awhile to recover from. I am happy to report that they now are both well.

30

I am now 30 years old. hummmm what does it mean to be 30. Well I guess I am going to have fun figuring it out. Some say I have now truly become an adult. Well this decade I want to laugh more, love more, and most of all follow God's will for my life.

Thank you all so much for your Birthday wishes.

Childrens Clothing.

Wow a lot of things have happened since I last blogged. I do not know if I will catch the blog up or just move on. This Week I have started my own business. Abigail Jamieson clothing line for Children. I am hoping to set up a web site and sell to local stores. Of course I will still be making clothes for individuals. I will also be making bags, curtains, pillows. Basically anything having to do with sewing. I may even start making clothes for moms to match their little ones. I am so very excited to be using the talents that God has given me. Here are some samples of the things that I have made.

The 30th Birthday Present!

This year is a big Birthday Year for me. One of my requests was a Chocolate Lab to be added to the Family now that we have a home that can support two dogs. Well this weekend we adopted Rex from the Cullman County Animal Shelter, even though my birthday is more than a month away, when your talking about the pound you do not wait . It could mean their life. Rex is 10 months old and is a happy go lucky guy. He slobbered all over the kids and greeted Mia. We will be bringing him home on Monday afternoon after he is neutered.

Playing with Water.

We went to a new park with our good friend Chris and Brandy and their son Braxton this past Friday evening. This park has a water fountain that you can play in. After we convinced Jonah that it would be lots of fun he and Braxton ran and played and of course got soaked. Maddie , we could not convince to play in the water. She instead wanted to play with the really big cup. She even shared with Jonah when he came over for a drink.

A very special visit.

About a week and a half after we moved into our new house we had some very special house guests. I had the privilege of meeting my biological Aunt Sandy and her husband Jerry. Sandy is the first blood relative ( other than my children) that I have met and hopefully will be followed by more. We had a wonderful time getting to know them and looking through all of the pictures. The kids really took to them as well.

Moved and lovin it =)

The week after Daniel walked, we closed on our house and began one of the most traumatic moving experiences I have had, but we are in our new house and lovin it an that is all that matters. We have spent these past few weeks unpacking boxes and just getting situated. The first few days were interesting. You know it is bad if you are stirring macaroni and cheese with scissors and also serving them with scissors because you can not find the silver ware. hee hee. This past weekend we painted the porch as you see in the picture. I just LOVE green so, of course we had to have green in the color scheme.

The "MASTER"

Daniel has done it! He finally finished his Masters in Music Education and Walked this Past Saturday May 10 2008. Congratulations Daniel. He is picutred with his brother David and Mother Charlotte. Below we managed to get John in the picture , Davids kids Cade and Edan, and Grandmother.

Maddie's MRI

As many of you know Maddie is now 19 months old and is still not walking. She is however pulling up on her own as of the last 3 weeks. Last Tuesday May 6th she went to Huntsville Women's and Children's Hospital for an MRI to see if see had any brain damage from high blood pressure in the womb caused from my pre-eclampsia. The part of the brain most vulnerable to blood pressure changes is the part that controls mobility. She had to be put to sleep for the MRI. She did really well. She had to go with out food or drink for almost 12 hours. That is hard for a little one. Her arm was bandaged up like this so they could give her the anesthesia. We are proud to report that the MRI was clear and that there is no damage.

The Movin Dance.

We have finalized paper work on a contract for our house so I am now ready to post pictures of the house we have had a contingency contract on and will hopefully start to move into on the 14th of May. This house may look small from the picture but it has over 3,300 heated square feet for the kids to romp around in.

Happy Birthday CC!!!!

It was CC's Birthday this Saturday and we celebrated that evening with a wonder steak dinner. Grandpa Ray was there and Maddie went right to him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CC!!!!

Our Mission, Clean up the back patio.

This past Saturday we spent the day cleaning up our back patio. It was in serious need of cleaning. It was very over grown and when you are trying to sell your house that is not a good thing. Jonah was such a helper. He helped carry the branches we cut to the back of the property and was very good with the rake and shovel. You can actually see the pretty flowers growing around the patio now even thought they are small.

Happy Easter!

Daniel's Uncle John and Aunt Ann came to visit this weekend and their daughter Kirsten and her husband Bryan also came. Here is Kirsten pictured with her daughter Emma. Emma and Maddie love to play together. We got a picture of the kids with CC and Papa and Grandmother.

A day at the Zoo!

Daniel had to take some instrument to fixed and the only shop was in Nashville. So on Good Friday we took a day trip and also went to the Nashville Zoo. We did not get to see everything because we got there one hour before they closed.
