To Bake or Not To Bake?

Yesterday, we had another showing but this time 45 min before they came I baked some cookies ( per sugg from a person CC knows) The showing went great. We managed to get back right as they were leaving and she told me that they ate the cookies . Which is hilarious because they were still in the oven. But she also told me he loved the house and ours is the only one he wants to bring his father to see. So we should know in the next few days. So my question is would it have turned out so well if I had not baked the cookies. ( we all know men and their stomachs. ha ha ha ) I know that Gods hand is in this.

Feeling like myself again!

Since we decided to sell our house I told myself I would not sew again until we moved. Well I thought we would sell quicker than this because I am impatient. So I took out a small amount of my supplies and started a little project. I found that if I do a little I can clean up for showings easily and still keep my sewing gene happy. Plus Maddie has a new outfit.

New Shoes!

I decided that Jonah needed a second pair of shoes after Maddie so gently put his in the bathtub with him for the second time in two weeks. As you see here she is helping again by tring to fit him with mommy's shoes. So today we are on the hunt for a second pair of shoes. May we find a good deal and a sweet pair of shoes!

Another Showing

Today we have another showing. Of course we do, the house is not show ready and I have made plans to do some sewing. Oh Well I would rather sell the house. I do not know if this is the one or not but I do know that God has been teaching me a lesson. Be still and know that I am God. Maybe now that I get it He will hurry it along. Ha Ha. We shall see.

These are just some fun pics from our trip to Michigan. I do not have any good snow pictures because it was really to cold to go outside -4. I flew out of Nashville with the kids on Wednesday February 6th in the evening. We had to stay over night in Detroit because the roads were so bad my dad could not come and get us that evening. Wow to tired cranky kids that had no nap and no dinner in a hotel with me by myself. That was a challenge. The rest of the trip went really well and the kids had fun. Maddie is definitely a southern girl. She cried when ever she was out in the cold. She was most happy in front of the heater.
